Commissioned painting of Staithes. A small seaside town on the East Coast of England.
The painting was created for a client from a photograph with a little artistic licence. Soft and accurate painting in the background to capture the scale of the view and wonderful detailed buildings. Textured painting and palette knife work in the water, rocks and foreground. Giving a sense of depth and the rugged nature of the rocks exposed to the sea air.
